Second Meeting of the Government Council on Sunday, October 19, 2025
Following the Council of Ministers chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, on Sunday, 26 Rabie II 1447, corresponding to October 19, 2025, the Government Council held a meeting, under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, dedicated to the examination and adoption of the Draft Finance Law (PLF) for the 2026 fiscal year and the accompanying texts.
- The Government Council began its work by examining and adopting Draft Finance Law (PLF) N° 50.25 for the 2026 fiscal year, presented by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah.
- Subsequently, the Government Council examined and adopted several decrees accompanying this Draft Finance Law (PLF). These are:
- Draft Decree N° 2.25.851 delegating authority to the Minister of Economy and Finance concerning domestic borrowing and recourse to any other financial instrument ;
- Draft Decree N° 2.25.852 delegating authority to the Minister of Economy and Finance concerning external financing;
- Draft Decree N° 2.25.853 delegating authority to the Minister of Economy and Finance to conclude loan agreements for the repayment of burdensome external debt and agreements for covering interest rate and currency exchange risks.
