Government Council Meeting of Thursday, April 9, 2026
The Government Council convened on Thursday, Shawwal 21, 1447, corresponding to April 9, 2026, under the chairmanship of Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government. At the beginning of its proceedings, the Council followed a presentation on the implementation of the High Royal Directives regarding integrated territorial development, presented by the Minister of the Interior.
Subsequently, the Government Council reviewed two draft organic laws and a draft decree relating to the military domain, in preparation for their presentation to the Council of Ministers. These are:
- Draft organic law amending and supplementing organic law No. 111.14 relating to regions;
- Draft organic law No. 02.12 amending and supplementing the organic law relating to appointments to senior positions, in application of the provisions of Articles 49 and 92 of the Constitution;
- Draft decree supplementing the decree relating to the status of military attachés, their assistants, and other military personnel assigned to their service.
