Meeting of the Government Council of Thursday, June 4, 2026
The Government Council met on Thursday, 18 Dhu al-Hijjah 1447, corresponding to June 4, 2026, under the chairmanship of Mr. Aziz Akhannouch. This meeting was dedicated to deliberations on several draft legal texts and the review of an international agreement, in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.
- The Government Council began its proceedings with the examination and adoption of Draft Law No. 013.26 amending and supplementing Law No. 2.00 on copyright and neighboring rights, presented by the Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication.
- Subsequently, the Government Council examined and adopted Draft Decree No. 2.26.52 determining the information required to initiate the collection process relating to physical coercion, presented by the Secretary of State to the Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Businesses, Employment, and Skills, in charge of Employment, on behalf of the Minister of Justice.
- Following this, the Government Council examined and adopted Draft Decree No. 2.25.561 amending and supplementing Decree No. 2.90.554 of 2 Rajab 1411 (January 18, 1991) on university institutions and university student residences, presented by the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation.
The Government Council concluded its proceedings by taking note of a cooperation agreement in the field of labor between the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Government of Burkina Faso, signed in Ouagadougou on December 10, 2025, alongside Draft Law No. 034.26 approving the aforementioned agreement, presented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates.
