The Head of Government chairs a meeting to accelerate the production of the unified social register

The Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, chaired, on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at the Head of Government's Office, a meeting on the unified social register and the mechanisms to accelerate its coming into existence, in the presence of the Minister of the Interior, Mr. Abdelouafi Laftit, the Secretary-General of the Government, Mr. Mohamed El Hajoui, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Ms. Nadia Fettah, the Minister of National Education, Pre-School Education and Sports, Mr. Chakib Benmoussa, the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Mr. Khalid Ait Taleb, and the Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family, Ms. Aawatif Hayar, the Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, Ms. Ghita Mezzour, the Director General of the National Social Security Fund, Mr. Hassan Boubrik, and the Director General of the National Health Insurance Agency, Mr. Khaled Lahlou.
 

This meeting comes within the framework of the government's keenness to accelerate the production of the unified social register and the development of mechanisms to track it, as well as to continue to implementation social protection workshops in full respect of the royal agenda .
After recalling the royal directives regarding the unified social register contained in the Throne Day speech, the Head of Government called on everyone to mobilize and mobilize comprehensively for the proper activation and implementation of these workshops, as it is the most effective mechanism to target poor and needy families. He added that the unified social register was an important practical step to improve the profitability of social programs.
The Head of Government stressed that the unified social register is part of an integrated perspective to strengthen the social pillars of the state, including the completion of compulsory health coverage by 2022, and the universalization of family allowances by the end of 2023.
