The Head of Government, Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, arrived on Wednesday in Moscow to represent His Majesty King Mohammed VI in the 3rd Russia-Africa Summit.

The proceedings of the 3rd Summit and Russia-Africa Economic Forum kicked off on the same day in the Russian capital, attended by representatives of African UN member countries.

The Moroccan delegation in this Summit, dubbed “For Peace, Security, and Development,” also includes the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and Morocco’s Ambassador to Russia, Lotfi Bouchaara.

The 3rd Russia-Africa Summit aims to strengthen cooperation between Russia and African countries in numerous strategic sectors, mainly trade, investment, energy, agriculture, and technology.

It builds on the previous editions organized in Sochi in 2019 and Saint-Petersburg in 2023, within a context in which Moscow and its African partners strive to expand their cooperation in different fields.
