The Head of Government chairs the signing ceremony of a framework agreement on the implementation of the training program for primary and secondary education teachers by 2025

Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government, chaired, on Monday, June 13, 2022, the signing ceremony of a framework agreement on the implementation of the program for the training of of primary and secondary education by the year 2025, concluded between the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports  and the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

This program comes as an embodiment of the high care given by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, and his support to the issues of education, training and scientific research as a key lever for the rehabilitation of the human element and a pivotal pillar in the development project, and in implementation of the requirements of Framework Law No. 17-51 on the system of education, training and scientific research and the new development model, which made raising the level of professors and professors training, care and motivation an essential entry point to raise the quality of education and training in our country. This is done by establishing a new engineering of the initial training that consists of 5 years, during which training takes place in three integrated spaces (initial training for the bachelor's degree in education at the competent university institutions,  the vocational training in the regional centers for the professions of education and training, and the training in educational institutions).

 


Thus, this program aims to meet the current and future needs of teachers in various disciplines of primary and secondary education, and to make the bachelor's degree in education an essential tributary to enter the teaching professions, by increasing their absorptive capacity, making them more attractive and improving the quality of initial training.
The duration of this program extends for five years, and the government has allocated a financial envelope of more than four Billion dirhams for it.
