Head of Government Holds Talks with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kenya

On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in Rabat, the Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, held talks with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kenya, Mr. Musalia Mudavadi. The discussions provided an opportunity to examine ways to strengthen cooperation between Morocco and Kenya, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, and the President of the Republic of Kenya, H.E. William Ruto.
On this occasion, the Head of Government expressed his satisfaction with the dynamic evolution of bilateral relations since H.E. William Ruto assumed the presidency of the Republic of Kenya in September 2022. He noted that the current momentum in bilateral ties reflects positive progress and a deepening commitment at all levels.
For his part, Mr. Musalia Mudavadi affirmed his country’s desire to strengthen its partnership with the Kingdom of Morocco, under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty the King. He emphasized that the opening of the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Rabat symbolizes the strong will of both parties to inaugurate a new chapter in their bilateral relations, at a time when the two countries are celebrating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations.
The Kenyan official also expressed his wish to visit several Moroccan cities to observe their development momentum, reiterating his country’s commitment to deepening cooperation and the exchange of expertise with Morocco across various fields.
