Government Council Meeting on Monday, May 12, 2025

On Monday, 14 Dhu al-Qi'da 1446, corresponding to May 12, 2025, the government held a meeting of the Government Council under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch. This meeting was dedicated to examining several draft legal texts for presentation to the Council of Ministers.

  • At the beginning of the session, the Government Council reviewed Organic Law Draft No. 09.25 amending and supplementing Organic Law No. 106.13 concerning the status of magistrates, presented by the Minister of Justice, Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi.
  • The Government Council continued its work by examining four draft decrees presented by the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of the Administration of National Defense, Mr. Abdellatif Loudiyi. The following draft decrees were discussed:
    1.    Draft Decree No. 2.25.366 concerning military air navigation;
    2.    Draft Decree No. 2.25.163 amending and supplementing Decree No. 2.65.046 of 6 Muharram 1385 (May 7, 1965) relating to the status of military attachés, their deputies, and other military personnel assigned to them;
    3.    Draft Decree No. 2.25.381 amending and supplementing Dahir No. 1.57.015 of 13 Jumada II 1376 (January 15, 1957), which sets the salaries of military personnel on the monthly payroll of the Royal Armed Forces;
    4.    Draft Decree No. 2.25.382 amending and supplementing Decree No. 2.56.680 of 24 Dhu al-Hijja 1375 (August 2, 1956), which sets the pay, food, and travel expense regulations for military personnel with special progressive pay in the Royal Armed Forces, as well as the related administrative and accounting rules.
