Meeting of the Government Council of Thursday, 29 January 2026
The Government Council met on Thursday, 09 Chaâbane 1447, corresponding to 29 January 2026, under the chairmanship of Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government. The meeting was devoted to the examination of several draft legal texts and to taking note of an international agreement, in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.
- At the beginning of its proceedings, the Government Council examined and adopted Draft Law No. 51.25, amending and supplementing the Dahir promulgating Law No. 1-93-16 of 29 Ramadan 1413 (23 March 1993), which sets out incentive measures for enterprises organizing internships for holders of certain diplomas with a view to their training and integration into the labor market. The draft law was presented by the Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Enterprise, Employment and Skills.
- The Council then examined and adopted Draft Decree No. 2.25.963, amending and supplementing Decree No. 2.23.665 of 25 Rabii II 1445 (10 November 2023) relating to the establishment of the Kingdom’s judicial map, presented by the Minister of Justice.
The Government Council concluded its work by taking note of an Air Services Agreement, signed in Montreal on 25 September 2025, between the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Government of the Republic of Rwanda, as well as Draft Law No. 67.25 approving the said agreement. This item was presented by the Minister of Transport and Logistics, on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates.
