Facilitation of voting by officials, civil servants and employees in the legislative elections of September 23, 2026 (Press Release)

On the occasion of the legislative elections for the election of members of the House of Representatives, scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2026, and pursuant to Circular No. 14/2026 of September 1, 2026, issued by the Head of Government, heads of public administrations, directors-general and directors of public establishments and enterprises, as well as presidents of elected local authorities, are invited to make the necessary arrangements to facilitate voting by officials, civil servants, employees and staff working in their respective services and establishments.
These arrangements are intended to enable them to exercise their right to vote under the best possible conditions, while ensuring the continuity and normal operation of public services.
In this regard, and with a view to encouraging the exercise of the right to vote and strengthening the values of citizenship, the Head of Government also calls on the heads of private-sector institutions and companies to take the necessary measures to enable their employees and staff to exercise their right to vote on election day.
