The Head of Government receives a delegation of high-ranking officials and economic operators from China's Anhui province

The Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, received a delegation of high-ranking officials and economic operators from the Chinese Province of Anhui in Rabat on Monday, October 13, 2025. The delegation was led by the Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party for Anhui Province, Mr. Liang Yanshun. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss ways to strengthen the privileged economic partnership between the Kingdom of Morocco and the People's Republic of China, in line with the guidelines of the leaders of the two countries, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, and the Chinese President H.E. Xi Jinping.
This meeting is part of the finalization of the discussions initiated in September 2024 in Anhui Province between the Moroccan delegation, led by the Head of Government, and the largest Chinese economic operators. It confirms the continuous progress of Chinese investments in our country across several sectors, particularly the automotive industry, which reinforces Morocco's status as a credible and attractive investment destination and helps strengthen the positive dynamic in the employment sector, a priority for the government.
The issue of energy transition was also central to the discussions during this meeting, which allowed for the exploration of ways to strengthen bilateral partnership in this field within the framework of efforts aimed at accelerating the development of renewable energies in the Kingdom and establishing green energy as an economic lever.
