Moscow - Head of Government Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, who is representing His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the 3rd Russia-Africa Summit, attended on Wednesday evening at the Kremlin a formal reception hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin in honor of the participating heads of state and government and delegations.

The Moroccan delegation to the Summit also includes the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and Morocco’s Ambassador to Russia, Lotfi Bouchaara.

Held under the theme "For Peace, Security, and Development," the 3rd Russia-Africa Summit aims to strengthen cooperation between Russia and African countries in several strategic sectors, particularly trade, investment, energy, agriculture and technology.

The Summit follows those held in Sochi in 2019 and St. Petersburg in 2023, amid efforts by Moscow and its African partners to expand cooperation across various fields.
